The national futsal team played to a thrilling 3-3 draw against Spain on Tuesday evening in a friendly match at the indoor arena of the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat.
The Atlas Lions struck first, with Ismaïl Amzal finding the net in the opening minutes. However, Spain leveled the score before halftime, courtesy of Adrián Rivera.
As the second half commenced, the home side regained the lead through a goal by Bilal Bakkali. Yet, Spain swiftly retaliated with two quick goals from Gonzalo Castejón and Antonio Pérez, seizing the advantage.
With just nine minutes remaining, captain Soufiane El Mesrar converted a penalty to equalize, ensuring Morocco concluded the match with a spirited 3-3 draw.
It's worth noting that the national team had previously secured a 4-2 victory in the first friendly encounter against Spain last Sunday.
