Morocco's under-17 national team bowed out of the FIFA World Cup after a 2-1 loss to Brazil in the quarter-finals on Friday, held at Field No. 7 of the Aspire Zone in Doha.

From the outset, Brazil asserted their offensive might, applying relentless pressure on the Moroccan defense, which stood firm against the Brazilian advances.

The Atlas Cubs countered with strategic plays from the midfield to the wings, aiming to penetrate the Brazilian penalty area and seize an opportunity.

However, Brazil broke the deadlock in the 16th minute, with Dell scoring after a decisive pass from Ruan Pablo.

This setback galvanized the Moroccan players, particularly Ismail El Aoud and Ziyad Baha, to push for an equalizer.

The breakthrough came when Ziyad Baha successfully converted a penalty in the dying moments of the first half, allowing Morocco to head into the break on level terms.

Emerging from the locker room, Nabil Baha's squad embraced a more aggressive and open approach, seeking to gain the upper hand while maintaining a strong defensive line to counter Brazil's long passes.

In a bid to regain momentum and intensify their attack, coach Nabil Baha introduced Abdellah Ouazzane and Ahmed Mouhoub in the 68th minute, replacing Zakaria El Khalfioui and Abdelali Eddaoudi.

With determination and grit, the Atlas Cubs held their ground against Brazil's attempts, employing a versatile strategy of rapid play and short passes to challenge the Brazilian defense. Yet, they fell short of securing the winning goal.

In a twist of fate, Brazil extended their lead in stoppage time, with Dell finding the net again in the 90th minute plus additional time.
