The Regional Vigilance Committee of Tetouan Province announced that it has made a dedicated emergency phone number (05.39.99.78.58) available to citizens, allowing them to contact the monitoring and field intervention unit as part of measures to manage the weather disturbances expected on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, in line with the issued weather alert bulletin.
Local authorities in Tetouan Province have been implementing a series of proactive measures and intensified field operations since Monday in anticipation of the adverse weather conditions. These actions include the evacuation of residents in flood-prone areas, the reinforcement of intervention mechanisms across several streets, and the placement of field teams on heightened alert.
In this context, more than 900 personnel from security services, civil protection, national promotion units, and volunteer groups have been mobilized, alongside the deployment of over 252 mobile units, including pumping trucks and bulldozers.
