Heavy thunderstorms and hail risk forecast Wednesday in Figuig and Jerada provinces

Locally heavy thunderstorms accompanied by a risk of hail are expected on Wednesday in the provinces of Figuig and Jerada, Morocco’s General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) announced.

In an orange-level weather alert bulletin, the DGM said thunderstorms bringing between 20 and 35 mm of rainfall are forecast between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. in both provinces.
