Morocco will compete in Group H alongside Spain, China and Fiji at the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2026, following the draw held on Thursday in Zurich. The Atlas Cubs will therefore face Spain in the opening round, FIFA said in a statement.
Scheduled to take place in Qatar from November 19 to December 13, the tournament, which will feature an expanded 48-team format for the second consecutive edition, will also offer several high-profile match-ups from the group stage, including France-Uruguay in Group D and Japan-Colombia in Group L.
The draw placed the 48 teams into 12 groups of four, although two spots have yet to be decided through the African play-offs set for Saturday, with Ethiopia facing Mozambique and Uganda taking on Ghana.
The group line-up for the 2026 U-17 World Cup:
