The Consulate General of Morocco in Liège held an open day on Saturday for Moroccan nationals who are unable to complete their administrative procedures on working days, enabling them to access, under optimal conditions, all essential consular services.

The initiative helped make consular services more accessible to members of the Moroccan community in the Liège consular district and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, including the renewal of identity and travel documents, the issuance of administrative papers, and assistance with various consular formalities.

Organized as part of the implementation of Royal directives and ahead of Operation Marhaba, the initiative drew a large turnout. Many Moroccans living abroad came to complete their administrative procedures in preparation for summer travel to Morocco.

Speaking to MAP on this occasion, Consul General Najah Dimou said the initiative reflected a «constant commitment to bringing the consular administration closer to our fellow citizens and responding effectively to their needs, particularly as the summer period approaches». «The strong turnout, as well as the remarkable commitment of our teams, demonstrates the success of this operation and the importance attached to the quality of public service», she added.
