Rising kerosene prices force RAM to temporarily suspend some flights
DR

Against a backdrop of sharply rising kerosene prices, driven by geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, and weaker demand on certain routes, Royal Air Maroc has been forced to adjust its international network.

The exceptional surge in operating costs is having a major impact on the global airline industry as a whole and has prompted several carriers to review their flight schedules and temporarily reduce capacity, the airline said in a statement.

The following routes have been temporarily suspended:

Casablanca – Bangui
Casablanca – Brazzaville
Casablanca – Kinshasa
Casablanca – Douala
Casablanca – Yaoundé
Casablanca – Libreville
Tangier – Malaga
Tangier – Barcelona
Marrakech – Lyon
Marrakech – Bordeaux
Marrakech – Marseille
Marrakech – Brussels

RAM added that it is taking all necessary measures to assist affected passengers and minimize the disruption caused by these suspensions.
