Two brothers arrested near Benslimane for inciting minor nephew to drink alcohol

As part of ongoing investigations into a case involving the incitement of a minor to consume intoxicating substances, officers from the National Brigade of Judicial Police, acting on precise information provided by the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance, arrested two brothers of the main suspect in the early hours of Saturday, May 30. The first suspect had been detained on Friday. The two men are suspected of taking part in these criminal acts.

National Security services responded to a video showing the suspects encouraging a minor to consume alcoholic drinks. The first suspect was arrested on Friday, before his two brothers were later apprehended in the village of “Al-Khasasma Malin El Oued,” near the city of Benslimane, in coordination on the ground with the territorially competent Royal Gendarmerie units.

The three detainees are brothers who appeared in a video widely circulated on social media, in which they were seen encouraging their minor nephew to drink alcohol. Their identities were subsequently established, leading to their arrest.

The detainees have been placed under judicial investigation by the National Brigade of Judicial Police, under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office, in order to determine all the circumstances surrounding the commission of these criminal acts.
