Real Oviedo sign Moroccan midfielder Younes Lachhab

Real Oviedo, who compete in LaLiga Hypermotion, Spain’s second tier, officially announced on Tuesday the signing of Moroccan midfielder Younes Lachhab.

The 27-year-old operates primarily as a defensive midfielder and is known for his tactical discipline, positional awareness and ability to dictate the tempo of play. Considered one of the more sought-after players on the Spanish transfer market, he is expected to add both stability and experience to Oviedo’s midfield.

Last season, the Moroccan international made 37 appearances, including 31 starts, and scored two goals.

With the signing of Lachhab, Real Oviedo are aiming to fill the void left by Ghanaian midfielder Kwasi Sibo, whose contract has expired, while bolstering their squad ahead of a campaign in which they hope to challenge for the top spots in LaLiga Hypermotion.
