King Mohammed VI received, on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the Royal Palace in Rabat, the newly appointed members of the Constitutional Court. According to a statement, the appointments were made in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and the Court’s organic law, as part of the renewal of one-third of its members.
They are:
Mohamed Amine Benabdellah and Saad Rhzioual Berrada, members appointed by the King.
The Sovereign appointed Mohamed Amine Benabdellah as President of the Constitutional Court.
Ahmadou El Baz, a member elected by the House of Representatives.
Abdelhafid Adminou, a member elected by the House of Councillors.
During the audience, the new members were sworn in before the King.
