Morocco and Argentina seek stronger ties at Buenos Aires talks

Argentina's Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Pablo Quirno, received Fouad Yazourh, Ambassador and Director-General for Political Affairs at Morocco's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad, on Thursday in Buenos Aires.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the eighth session of the Morocco-Argentina Joint Commission, held in the Argentine capital. It provided an opportunity for both sides to welcome the strong ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and to reaffirm their shared commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations across a range of areas of mutual interest.

The two officials reviewed the main pillars of Morocco-Argentina cooperation and underscored the importance of maintaining regular political dialogue to sustain the positive momentum in bilateral relations.

They also discussed ways to expand economic and trade exchanges, encourage investment and deepen cooperation in sectors with strong growth potential.

Finally, both sides stressed the importance of consultation and coordination within multilateral forums to promote dialogue, stability and international cooperation.
