Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita received on Thursday in Rabat Sering Modou Njie, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad, who was acting as a special envoy of Gambian President Adama Barrow and carrying a written message to King Mohammed VI.
Speaking to the press following the meeting, Njie praised the ties of friendship and brotherhood between Morocco and The Gambia, as well as the shared commitment to further strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries, in line with the vision of King Mohammed VI and President Adama Barrow.
The Gambian foreign minister also commended the excellent relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of The Gambia, highlighting the cordial and mutually beneficial cooperation that unites the two nations and is rooted in shared values of friendship, solidarity and fraternity.
He further reiterated his country’s firm commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation in areas of common interest.
