Moroccan striker Youssef El Kachati has signed a three-year contract with French side Stade de Reims from Dutch club NEC Nijmegen, the Ligue 2 club announced on Thursday.
In a statement, Reims said the 26-year-old forward will strengthen its attacking line, highlighting his goal-scoring instinct and impressive performances in the Netherlands.
Quoted in the statement, El Kachati said he was «happy to help the club achieve its goals and meet the expectations of our supporters», describing the move as «an important step» in his career.
The Moroccan centre-forward scored 24 goals in 43 appearances across all competitions during the 2024-25 season, playing a key role in Telstar's promotion to the Eredivisie.
A product of Sparta Rotterdam's academy, El Kachati signed his first professional contract in 2018 before spells with Quick Boys and Telstar. He joined NEC Nijmegen in June 2025 on a three-year deal before securing his move to Reims.
El Kachati was also called up to Morocco's under-23 national team for the first time in March 2019, making an appearance against DR Congo.
