After supporting animation studios in several sub-Saharan African countries, including Côte d'Ivoire and Madagascar, TV5MONDE is now extending its support to Moroccan studios through an exceptional grant from the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

In a statement, the French-language broadcaster said it has invested €1 million in Morocco, enabling the production of around ten educational and entertaining animated series in French aimed at passing on the shared values of the Francophonie to younger generations.

As part of the initiative, TV5MONDE has signed partnership agreements with Neverseen Productions and Art'coustic Studios, two companies recognized for their contribution to the development of Morocco's animation industry.

Eight animated series produced with TV5MONDE's support are already being delivered and will be broadcast worldwide on the general-interest channel TV5MONDE, the children's channel TiVi5MONDE, and the streaming platform TV5MONDE+.

Through this initiative, the broadcaster said it is reaffirming its commitment to promoting creative diversity while giving young audiences the opportunity «to discover heroes, stories and cultural heritage that reflect the important place of the Maghreb within the French-speaking world».

TV5MONDE is a global French-language television network whose ten channels are available in more than 400 million households worldwide and subtitled in 12 languages. Its streaming platform, TV5MONDE+, is accessible in 200 countries and territories.
