King Mohammed VI offers condolences to Qatar's Emir following father's death

King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences to Qatar's Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, following the death of his father, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, praising the late leader's contribution to Qatar's modernization and his role in supporting Arab causes and strengthening Arab and Islamic solidarity.

In his message, the King also highlighted the late Sheikh Hamad's close ties with Morocco, saying the kingdom would always remember his steadfast support for "his second homeland," both through development projects and in backing Morocco's just causes.

King Mohammed VI concluded by expressing his deepest sympathy to the Qatari royal family and praying for the deceased's eternal peace and for the Emir's continued health and well-being.
