Mohammed VI museum of Modern and Contemporary Art : An exhibition of Picasso’s best works of art

After a long delay, finally an exhibition of Picasso’s best paintings will take part to the «Africa in the Capital» festival, the National Foundation of Museums (NFM) reports. The exposition entitled «Face a Picasso» is scheduled for the period between the 17th of May and the 31st of July, a communiqué indicates. Interviewed by Telquel, Mehdi Qotbi who is the NFM’s president announced that Lalla Salma will attend the inauguration of the display on May the 15th.

For the first time in Morocco a set of Pablo Picasso’s paintings, photographs, ceramics and sculptures will be displayed. Known for reinventing art, Picasso has been able to create a style that resembled his personality.

The Rabat exhibition is organized by the National Foundation of Museums and Paris-Picasso national Museum and under the high patronage of King Mohammed VI, the French President Francois Hollande and King Felipe of Spain. Art aficionados will have the chance to attend the prestigious event for free during the first 15 days.
