Glory heavyweight champion Rico Verhoeven defeated on Saturday night 20th of May his Moroccan-Dutch counterpart Ismael Lazaar in the non-title main event of the Gloty 41 Super-Fight Series card organized in the Netherland, Bet.nl online newspaper reports.
The Moroccan-Dutch boxer could not win the battle which granted Rico Verhoeven another victory. As a matter of fact, in December Verhoeven defeated Badr Hari leaving him with a broken arm. Ismael Lazaar later on promised to fight against Rico to take revenge, News Sport points out.
The Dutch kick boxer announced after the game that «he is not satisfied with his performance» and that he «could have done better», he told NU.nl.
