The Moroccan Association for Human Rights has blown the whistle yesterday night reporting that two trainee teachers who are on a hunger strike were sent to the hospital.
«Their demands are well-founded, and their lives are in danger», tweeted the Rbati department of the organisation. The same source urged the teachers to stop the strike. The association also called the Minister of National Education to «hold talks immediately with them».
The NGO indicates that 22 people are on a hunger strike and that they are at the AMDH headquarters in Rabat.

The National Coordination of Trainee teachers have decided this week to start a hunger strike to make the government deliver on its commitments. Their objective is to recruit all the trainee teachers belonging to the 2015-2016 class who graduated from the Regional Centers of Education and Training (CRMEF).
The Coordination hopes to implement an agreement signed with the ex-Wali of Rabat, Abdelouafi Laftit, and representatives of the six main education unions.
Through this form of protest, the Coordination demands to hold talks with El Othmani's government. There are 150 trainee teachers who have been dismissed in disregard of the agreement reached last April.
