Sweden has accelerated the process of deporting Moroccan teenagers in an irregular situation, AFP news agency reports on Friday. These expulsions intervened following the application of an agreement «which requires Rabat to accept their return», writes the same source.
Sweden reports that about 800 young people, even very young North Africans, mostly Moroccans live without having a regularized status in large cities such as Stockholm and Gothenburg.

The Swedish Minister of Justice and Migration, Morgan Johansson tweeted about this matter explaining that : «The government's work has given results. Morocco is welcoming its nationals coming from Sweden and who had residence permit».
Talking numbers, the Minister as reported by TT press agency, declared in 2015 that 8 people were deported, 35 others went through the same thing in 2016 and 82 were were expelled on the first five months of 2017.
«These youngsters from Maghreb, often called in Sweden «Moroccan street children», do not manage to integrate to the society», AFP indicates. Young migrants live in very precarious situations, which makes them vulnerable to «organized crime networks that can use them as little hands or subject them to prostitution».
The agreement signed by the Moroccan and the Swedish governments dates back to May 2016, it pushes Morocco to welcome Moroccan deported migrants even those who «do not carry an identity card».
