Three Syrian refugees were intercepted by the police in Nador and sent back using force to the buffer zone in Figuig, Amnesty international reports. The incident was confirmed to Yabiladi by a source.

«A 15-year-old girl, a 2-year-old child and a man were intercepted by the police in Nador», the same source indicates. According top the same person, the press has highly contributed to worsening the situation of Syrian refugees by disclosing certain pieces of information such as the number of those who entered Morocco with the help of smugglers.

«They have put them in danger, as the authorities found them and forced them to return to the borders».  For the moment, 28 refugees are blocked in a buffer zone separating Morocco and Algeria. The neighboring country has announced earlier that it will host the refugees but differences between the two countries has made that impossible for now. The situation of the refugees is worrying as they are spending their nights in the desert and were subject to dangerous threats such as snakes and scorpions.
