The first Moroccan victim killed in the huge fire in the Grenfell tower has finally been identified by the Police. According to Mailonline, she is called Khadija Khallouif a British citoizen with Moroccan descent who was found dead outside the building after being lost for days.

Khadija Khalloufi's body (52) was identified by the police today, she was found dead in the grass just 50ft away from the burning tower around 6am, the same source indicates.

Speaking to the same source exclusively, her Husband Abdullah, a retired lecturer narrates how he lost his wife in the crowds trying to escape the blaze. «The police said that we are here now to inform you that we did find the body of your wife and we found it opposite the tower building next to the leisure center», Abdullah stated to the Mailonline.

The sad husband indicated that he was told by the police that «she died in the greenery and the flowers, in the fresh air. Outside the leisure centre». The wife's body had no burns on, which suggests, according to the British newspaper, that she died of «smoke inhalation».

Remembering the night of the incident, Sabah told the same source that he tried to escape the blaze with his wife. «I said to my wife, put a part of your robe over your nose so you can at least filter it, and I pulled her from the flat», he recalled saying : «I pulled her from the 17th floor and it was very awkward. People were pushing and forcing you to move because each one was running for his life».

«It was a stampede, with killer smoke. I could see only half a meter in front of me. The noise was indescribable. Not only were people screaming, you could feel that every one of them was very nervous and afraid, scared, wondering what's going on. Nobody was expecting this. We were all coughing terribly in the black smoke. There was a mixture of people, mainly adults but some children».

Abdullah Sabah who was married to his wife for 30 years told the same source that his wife will be buried in Morocco. For the record, A huge fire broke out at a London’s apartment building on the 13th of June. Several people were killed as many others are in the hospital.
