Morocco has lost 4 places globally and is now in 60th position, according to the FIFA monthly ranking published yesterday by the international football organization.
Regionally, the list was topped by Egypt (24th in the world), Senegal (27th), DRC (28th), Tunisia (34th) and Cameroon (36th), Morocco ranks 12th with a total score of 604 points.
Globally, Germany, winner of the 2017 Confederations Cup an international association football tournament for national teams, currently held every four years by FIFA., was first followed by Brazil and Argentina while Portugal was ranked 8th.
For the record, FIFA World Ranking is a ranking system for national teams. Its results are based on the teams’ performance. The ranking was first introduced in 1992.
