An exchange program entitled «Campfire» has brought students from Morocco, Jordan and the USA to boost global citizenship, empathy and action-oriented initiatives, reports Jordan times.
The program organized by the Global Nomads Group (GNG), an NGO committed to fostering dialogue and understanding among the world's youth, has been working for «finding solutions to problems in the educational systems» for four years.
«Despite the lack of resources at many educational institutions in these countries, teachers are working towards achieving a better environment for students with the resources at hand», Christine Goussous a community associate at GNG told the same source.
The initiative holds the objective of connecting young people in the MENA region and the US through different programmes.
