A 49-year-old British Bitcoin dealer, who is the subject of a red notice issued by the Interpol, was arrested on Wednesday in Tangier over fraud charges in the United States, MAP news agency reports.
According to the first elements provided by the investigation, the Interpol released a red notice on the 17th of July on the basis of an international arrest warrant issued by the US judicial authorities following a computer fraud related crime, the directorate of national security (DGSN) said in a statement.
The suspect has been placed under custody and the judicial authorities will decide on his extradition coordinating with the Interpol-Washington office and the International police organization (Interpol).
