Throne celebrations : Royal pardon for the benefit of prisoners of the PJD party and some members of the «Hirak» movement

While the public is awaiting Mohammed VI's speech on the occasion of the Celebration of the Throne, the Ministry of Justice announces Royal pardons for the benefit of the five youths of the PJD party convicted of «promoting terrorism» and some «Hirak» detainees.

Among them are «a number of detainees who did not commit any serious crimes or acts during the events in the Al Hoceima region», said Aujjar's department.

In total, 1,178 inmates benefited from this measure on the occasion of the Celebration of the Throne. The singer Salima Ziani, also known as Sylia, is expected to appear on the list of pardonees.
