The Ambassador of the Kingdom in Turkey, Menouar Alem dies in Rabat

Moroccan Ambassador to Turkey, Mr. Menouar Alem, died on Monday night in Rabat, his relatives told MAP news agency.

Born on the 20th of  January 1955 in Rabat, Menouar Alem joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in 1979, where he held several positions.

In 2004, he was appointed ambassador of HM the King, Head of the Mission of the Kingdom of Morocco to the EU, Representative of Morocco in the NATO Mediterranean Dialogue.

On the 13th of  October 2016, he was appointed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Ambassador of Morocco to Ankara.
