A snake charmer bitten to death by a poisonous snake

A snake charmer was bitten to death by a poisonous snake on Monday 31st of July in the city of Martil, a sea resort northeastern Tetouan, Alarabiya reports. The deceased was in the middle of his show when he was stung on his right hand by the carnivorous reptile.

According to the same source, passer-bys have rushed to rescue the charmer but he died. Several Moroccans in different touristic cities earn their living from hypnotizing snakes, a job that is considered dangerous.

Despite the death of the man in Martil, many snake charmers die out of this job although they have collected experience and expertise when it comes to snake hypnotizing.
