Maroc in Mode and Maroc Sourcing to be held in Marrakech

The 15th edition of Maroc in Mode and the 14th edition of Maroc Sourcing trade events will be held in Marrakech from the 26th to the 27th of October 2017. 175 exhibitors from Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Turkey, Spain, Germany, France, Portugal and China will participate to the two shows to showcase their products, designs and abilities.

According to Drapersonline, a magazine interested in fashion and retail news, the festival is going to be «divided into sectors such as fast fashion, denim, knitwear, sports and leisure and Moroccan brands». The events will also include a section for leather clothing and footwear.

The same source points out that for the first time, 20 Moroccan companies, specialized in manufacturing leather and footwear will take part of the Maroc In Mode – Maroc Sourcing. It will also be attended by 1500 visitors from Europe and Africa.

The two events will help expose the «capabilities and innovation of Moroccan manufacturers and take advantage of Morocco's new ‘ecosystem' approach to boosting the production and reputation of its garment and textile», clarifies the same source.

The shows will be held at the Moulay Hassan racing circuit and are organized by Amith, the Moroccan Textile Organization, the Foreign Trade Department and Maroc Export.
