Wu-Tang Clan's «Once Upon a Time in Shaolin» album is for sale on eBay, France TV Info reported on Wednesday. Bought in 2015 by the controversial businessman Martin Shkreli, the album that had been recorded in Marrakech where members of the legendary American hip-hop band spent several months was produced in a single copy in its is stored in a silver box designed by a Moroccan craftsman.

Its current owner, Martin Shkreli had bought it for two million dollars at the end of 2015. He put it on sale Tuesday evening on eBay. The 34-year-old businessman, is notorious for multiplying the price of a drug for HIV-positive people by 55 in September 2015.

He claims not to have even listened to the full album and threatened to cancel the sale and destroy the copy. «At any moment, I can cancel this sale and I could even destroy the album if I'm upset,» he wrote in a message accompanying the auction. The latter must be held until September 15th, continues France TV Info.

In the late afternoon, the highest bid exceeded $ 201,000, reports the French media, pointing out that Martin Shkreli said he would donate half of the money raised to medical research.

The only copy of the album was kept in a safe place in Morocco during its first auction by the group in 2015. The main producer of the album is none other than Tarik Azzougarh, better known as  Cilvaringz. He is a Dutch rapper of Moroccan origin.
