Agadir : Air Arabia launched its maiden flight on Sunday

Air Arabia Maroc launched on Sunday its inaugural flight to Agadir, an opening perceived as a boon for tourism in Morocco and most precisly the region. Agadir Al Massira airport will be linked to Manchester, Berlin, Toulouse, Dublin, Cologne, Stockholm and Copenhagen, with two flights a week.

Agadir is the sixth base of the low-cost airline in Morocco. Air Arabia already operates flights to 50 European destinations including five cities in the Kingdom : Casablanca, Fez, Tangier, Marrakech and Nador.

In Agadir, we are talking about an additional capacity of almost 14,900 seats on point-to-point airlines with major European cities. According to Air Arabia, tickets are sold starting from 70 Euros from Europe and 699 dirhams from Morocco. The new base was opened in partnership with the Moroccan National Tourist Board (CRT) and the local authorities. 

Several international and national airlines have recently increased their presence on the tarmac at Al-Massira airport, including Royal Air Maroc, Air France, Ryanair, Transavia, Easyjet, Sunexpress, Thomson Fly, Jetair Fly and Air Berlin.
