Supported by Unesco and the Mediterranean Youth Network (Net-Med Youth), and initiated by the province of Tata and the Ministry of Culture, Moroccopedia travels the city of Tata with 14 young people to produce short documentaries on the cultural heritage of the city. The works will be presented Saturday, October 7 at the cultural complex of Tata, a stated in a communiqué sent to Yabiladi.
Moroccopedia will provide free training to young people in the region who wish to learn audiovisual techniques with the objective of preserving the cultural heritage of the city.
Trainings began on the 28th of September and 14 young people have benefited from technical courses, combining shooting and editing over 10 consecutive days, in order to illustrate the cultural richness of this oasis area : rock carving, pottery, silver work, Ahwach, etc. .
By the end of the fieldwork conducted throughout the region, Moroccopedia will present audiovisual documentaries at the end of the year online on the ecological and cultural richness of this oasis zone in order to highlight the cultural diversity of the region.
On the sidelines of this event, photographer Youness Miloudi will present his traveling exhibition «Last tribes» from October 1 to 12 in the public space of Tata.
