The Moroccan-Dutch kickboxer super heavyweight kickboxer is likely to be released on Friday 3rd of November after serving seven months in jail and is expected to visit Morocco; AD newspaper quoted his manager Jacques de Wit.
«After his release, he will go immediately to Morocco, where he will live now and where his family is settled down», said Jacques de Wit.
The Hague Supreme court found Hari guilty, on February the 7th, and sentenced the kickboxer to six months in prison after the appeal filed by the latter following a previous ruling issued by the Court of Appeal. The verdict of the Supreme Court had been irrevocable and final.
Once considered the best kickboxer in the world, Badr Hari does not want to end his career. His manager said he hopes to continue fighting for another two years. For the record, Badr Hari lost to Dutchman Rico Verhoeven in December 2016.
