Marrakech shooting : The young girl shot in the attack is severely injured

Two men on a motorcycle opened fire on two clients of a coffee shop near Marrakech's Appeal Court, on Thursday 2nd of November in the evening. As reported by Kech24, a local online newspaper, the assailants managed to flee the crime scene leaving at least one dead and two people injured.

The shooting took place in one of Gueliz's most famous neighborhoods, namely l'Hivernage. According to the same source, one of the victims is believed to be dead after being shot in the head.

It is believed that the homicide is a score settling. The shooting occurred around 7.45 pm, indicates the newspaper. According to the first elements of the investigation, the man killed was the primary target of the attackers.

A waitress and a young womam were also injured and transported to a hospital. The latter who was shot in the attack has left the operating room, a medical source reported. Accordingly, the victim is severely injured and her liver, stomach and small intestine are highly affected.
