The CAF Champions League cup, a blessing for Al Wydad’s businesses

After securing the CAF Champions League cup by defeating Al Ahly sporting club, Al Wydad Athletic Club is receiving a $ 2.5 million- check, nearly MAD 24 million. Good news for the Casablanca club which plans to purchase a training center set to host the team’s different categories, reports Ecofoot.

For a MAD 60 million investment, the center will be the fourth Botola Pro club to host its own training facilities. Al Wydad’s players will also benefit from their recent victory as they as supposed to receive 200,000 Dirhams each.

For the record, on Saturday 4th of November the Casablanca red team won its first CAF Champions League win since 1992 by scoring 2 aggregated goals in the two football matches against Al Ahly.
