The trial of Nasser Zefzafi has been resumed this morning in Casablanca. In his pleading before the court, Mr. Isaac Sharia openly accused Ilyas El Omari, the previous General Secretary of the Authenticity and Modernity Party, of instigating Hirak activists to «commit serious acts», reports Alaoual online newspaper.
«My client, Nasser Zefzafi told me that Ilyas El Omari had contacted him many times pushing him and other Hirak activists to conspire against the king and the country, but he refused,» he said.
Sharia asked the judge to ensure the authenticity of his remarks to Zefzafi himself, adds the same source.
He also expressed his willingness to accept all the measures taken against him by the judge and the public prosecutor in case his statements are fond unfounded. As a result, Isaac Sharia sought the appearance of El Omari in court.
