Morocco’s national team is the strongest in Africa, according to the German coach

Joachim Low, a former football player who is currently the head coach of the Germany national team, which he led to victory at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil and the 2017 FIFA Confederation Cup in Russia, has declared that the Moroccan team is stronger than Nigeria’s.

As reported by the football online platform, Brila, while speaking on his team’s chances and options in the World Cup 2018 in Russia,Low commented on African teams that would perform well in the international competition.

«We know some very good teams from all over the World are coming, like in Africa Morocco did well in the qualifying series and they will be the team most people would be expecting to pull surprises from Africa», said the coach.  

Morocco’s national football was qualified on the 11th of November for the 2018 FIFA World Cup after defeating the Ivorian Elephants in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. Under the guidance of Hervé Renard, the Atlas Lions qualification is the fifth in history after 20 years.
