The Moroccan ambassador to Algeria has taken up his position in Algiers

Hassan Abdel Khaliq, the Moroccan ambassador to Algeria has taken up his position in Algeirs, weeks after he was summoned by the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to protest against the recent statement of the Algerian Foreign Minister, Abdelkader Messahel, states a source from the Foreign Ministry. The Algerian minister accused Morocco of laundering drug money in the African continent through banking. 

The same source did not disclose the reasons behind the aforementioned decision, indicating that the Moroccan ambassador is in office.
