«Culture, dialogue and good neighborliness» is the theme chosen for the Morocco Days in Tunisia, scheduled from December 5 to 19 and organized by the Moroccan Embassy in Tunis.
The opening ceremony of this event will be marked by a great concert entitled «Andalusian Horizons», given by the «International Ensemble Meeting and Peace», under the presidency of renowned Moroccan artist Ali Alaoui.
A round table is also to be organized on 11 December, in partnership with the Arab Institute for Human Rights and the National Council for Human Rights, with the support of the Tunisian Ministry of Education entitled «Education for human rights and citizenship, issues of freedom and responsibility».
A great posthumous tribute will be paid by the Kingdom Embassy in partnership with «Feminist Maghreb Days» and the National Library of Tunisia, to the Moroccan writer and feminist Fatima Mernissi.
To reach the public outside Tunis, a day dedicated to short films will be organized on December 16 in Monastir with the support of the Moroccan Cinema Center.
The gastronomy is also on the menu of these days with the organization of a promotional event of three days dedicated to the discovery of the Moroccan cuisine.
To reinforce the links of human, cultural and economic exchange between the two countries, the Embassy of Morocco organizes at the end of these days a thematic dinner in honor of the members of the Association of Tunisian alumni in Morocco.
