The Belgian-Moroccan kick-boxer Jamal Ben Saddik lost to his Dutch opponent Rico Verhoeven on Saturday at the Rotterdam's Palais des sports, reports the Dutch channel Rijnmond.
The latter successfully defended his world title in the heavyweight category, taking revenge on the Belgian-Moroccan athlete, who had beaten him six years ago.
Last May, Rico Verhoeven defeated the Dutch-Moroccan boxer Ismael Lazaar in the Dutch Glory 41 tournament in Den Bosh, The Netherlands. In December 2016, he also won a fight against Badr Hari. It was then that Ismael Lazaar had challenged him to avenge his compatriot.
For the record, Rico Verhoeven is expected to play in March 2018 against Badr Hari.
