Germany wants to deport young migrants coming from Morocco. Two centers will be built in the kingdom to house deported minors, reports AFP news agency. The German Interior ministry wants to take care of «street children, and minors returning from Germany», adds the same source, quoting Welt am Sonntag, a German Sunday newspaper.

The shelters in Morocco will each host 100 youths. Minors will receive social assistance, counseling and access to educational opportunities, centers built in cooperation with the Moroccan government, local officials and NGOs, indicates Deutsche Welle.

«The establishment must be open to people choosing to return» to Morocco «under 18 years and persons forcibly returned, especially juvenile offenders,» adds the German media. The European country is looking for an «integrated approach to the return and reintegration of unaccompanied minors in Morocco,» said a press release quoted by the French news agency. He added that the project is supported by the German Ministry of the Interior.

Germany is discussing the project with the Moroccan government. The goal is to quickly begin the proceedings on this project spread over three years.
