5 + 5 Dialogue : Moroccan MPs attend a meeting in Algiers

While Foreign ministers gathered in Algeria to attend the 5 + 5 Dialogue, also known as the Western Mediterranean Forum, Algiers welcomed on Saturday and Sunday, the 7th session of the Parliaments of the ten countries. A Moroccan delegation was present there, composed of deputies and councillors : Two from the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), one from the Socialist Union of Popular Forces (USFP) and another one representing the Justice and Development party (PJD).

The theme for the meeting was : «Western Mediterranean countries : enhancing a global, sustainable and shared socio-economic development, to meet the common challenges of the region».

The MPs discussed topics related to the terrorist threat and the issue of migration in the region. In general the meeting was overshadowed by the false information that preceded the arrival of Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita in the Algerian capital.
