Invited by the political broadcast, Bourdin Direct, aired on BFM TV and RMC, the Vice President of the National Front (FN), Louis Aliot, criticized Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia when speaking about the migration issue.

Also a member of the Eastern Pyrenees, Aliot believes that the North African countries above-mentioned are «destroying their youth», while «sending them to France». Based on a parliamentary report published on Tuesday, 21st of February, by the National Assembly, the politician explained, relying on data and statistics, that nationals from the three countries are the main foreigners settled down in France.

«It’s still extraordinary to see three former French colonies, which one of them wanted independence are becoming professionals in migration», said Louis Aliot. «These people need to focus on their countries. They have incredible riches. They have oil. They have gas (…) they are destroying their youth and now they are sending us immigrants», he added.

Relayed by The Huffington Post Tunisia, the latest figures from INSEE (2013) indicate that nearly 30% of the immigrants settled down in France are from Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia. In details, 710,000, 760,000 and 259,000 immigrants from the three countries respectively lived in France in 2013. Moroccan immigrants in France thus represent 12.2% of the foreign nationals living in France, Algerians 13% and Tunisians 4.4%.
