A 19-year-old Moroccan man is facing a two-year prison sentence for breaking a minor's jaw, La Nueva España newspaper reported. A sentence requested by the public prosecutor at the Gijón court (north), which also demanded expulsing the man from the Spanish territory for eight years.

The facts took place on May 21, 2017 at 3 am. Imad A., who had played a boxing match that day, arrived with a 17-year-old miner. With others, he punched the victim several times, the prosecutor said. The victim had a facial trauma and a broken jaw, and was hospitalized for four days.

The prosecution also calls for a 4,000-euros compensation sum for injuries and 7,000-euros one for the moral damages. For now, Imad A. is held in custody for another attack last July. With another individual, he had attacked a waiter who had just left his place of work. The victim had been in a coma after the injuries.
