Accused of being invovled in the November 13 attacks in Paris and the March 22 ones in Brussels, Mohamed Abrini and Ossama Krayem were remanded in custody for another two months, said Friday the Brussels Federal Prosecutor's Office to the Belga press agency.

Mohamed Abrini was arrested on April 8, 2016. He was the man wearing a hat, spotted through a Closed-circuit television, in addition to two kamikazes in the Brussels Airport. On March 22, 2016, he dropped an explosives bag at the Zaventem airport. After the first two suicide bombers unleashed their explosives, he reportedly left the airport, leaving his own bomb intact, Belga recalls.

On May 20, 2016, Mohamed Abrini took part in the re-enactments held in rue Max Roos in Schaerbeek and the Brussels Airport. He was charged of «being involved in the activities of a terrorist group», «terrorist murders» and «terrorist assassination attempts». He was also charged with «terrorist murders» in connection with the Paris bombings.

For his part, Ossama Krayem was also arrested on April 8, 2016. He was present in the City 2 complex when he bought the bags used to attack the airport and provided the explosive bag to the kamikaze Khalid El Barkaoui who blew himself up at the Maelbeek metro stop.
