2026 World Cup : Moulay Hafid Elalamy in Amman to promote for Morocco's bid

Moulay Hafid Elalamy, Minister of Industry, Investment, Trade and Digital Economy is working hard to promote Morocco's bid to organize the 2026 World Cup.

The chairman of the Moroccan bid committee was seen at Mohammed V airport with the delegation going to Jordan to promote the Moroccan bid at the meeting of the Executive Committee for the Association of Asian Western Nations.

Moulay Hafid Elalamy had recently met the presidents of African federations participating in the symposium on women's sport organized by CAF in Marrakech. This time he heading to Amman «to mobilize the support of the 13 countries that make up the West Asia Association,» said a source close to the file.

This trip takes place five days after the submission of Morocco's application.
