A Moroccan national who lives in Italy was recently arrested for a murder he committed in 1991 in Veneto, Susegana. The man had «broken the skull» of his brother-in-law during a fight. Following the incident, he had disappeared, said Treviso Online. The victim succumbed to his injuries and died two days later.

Later on, investigators in Treviso have managed to arrest the fugitive. The Moroccan had meanwhile moved to Agrigento, «where he has lived quietly with his family for years».

The Moroccan national «was identified through a careful analysis, conducted by forensic investigators in Padua based on the photos he used for documents obtained in the past years,» said the same source.

The man is now in the Agrigento Prison, having been sentenced in absentia in 1992 to 15 years in prison.
