FIFA task force expresses admiration for quality of Moroccan bid

Members of the FIFA Task Force, on an inspection visit to Morocco, expressed their admiration for the quality of Morocco's bid to host the 2026 World Cup, chairman of the national candidacy committee Moulay Hafid Elalamy said on Friday in Casablanca.

They also noted the exceptional involvement of the entire Moroccan State and its high-level officials, Elalamy stressed during a press briefing at the end of the Task Force's visit (April 16-19).

Similarly, they felt «the passion of the whole population» for the event, which «clearly highlights the fact that Morocco as a whole is a candidate», he said.
