France’s Alexander Levy wins the Hassan II Golf Trophy

French professional golfer Alexander Levy won, Sunday 22nd of April, the Hassan II Trophy, a golf tournament in Morocco hosted by Prince Moulay Rachid. Levy finishes a 2-under 70 defeating by one shot Spanish golfer Alvaro Quiros, said Associated Press.

«One off the lead overnight, Levy made two of his four birdies in his first five holes to hit the front and stayed ahead for the rest of the final day at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam course», said the same day.

Levy will leave to Beijing for the China Open title after his victory in the Kingdom. For the record, the tournament allowed Levy to obtain his fifth European Tour title.

In the Lalla Meryem Cup, Ladies European Tour played in the Kingdom, Swedish Jenny Haglund made a birdie on the second play-off hole to triumph, said the same source.

Klara Spilkova from the Czech Republic got her first LET after defeating Huglund and Astralia’s Sarah Kemp.
