Moroccan-Dutch DJ Fadel El Ghoul, known by his stage name R3hab, said in an interview with Quote magazine that he wanted to improve the image of Moroccans living in the Netherlands, reports NU.

«Of course things are not easy for Moroccan youth. But I think that there is a message that is too one-sided and above all very negative sent to them», he told the Dutch magazine.

R3hab believes that «if a show like RTL Late Night invites [him], there will be a Moroccan like [him], who could talk about many positive things».

As he explains, these young people are surrounded by «a negative atmosphere and that is why they behave in this way».

Indeed, crime, drug trafficking and hired killers are words associated with Moroccan youth, especially because of the Moroccan mafia. The latter is believed to be one of the most violent organized gangs in Europe.
