Morocco’s bid committee announced, Wednesday, that the construction of the Casablanca Grand Stadium to be completed by March 2025.
In a Tweet made public on May the 23rd, the committee confirmed the information, stating that the new stadium will be a dream coming true for the Atlas Lions.

The stadium is planned with a capacity of 93,000 spectators, making it the third-highest capacity football stadium in Africa. If completed, it will replace Stade Mohamed V. The opening and final of the 2026 World Cup is expected to take place there.
The stadium will also enable Morocco to host major international sporting events, concerts and festivals. This modern design venue, with many innovative features, will provide a unique atmosphere for all occasions and all visitors.
